  • We’re thankful for such a good start to our SGC African church partnership with the pastors retreat in Ethiopia.
  • Jonathan’s mom, Sue, fell down a flight of stairs and suffered brain bruising and a slight spine fracture. She’s up and walking at the hospital. Please pray for healing and wisdom for preventing further accidents like this. We’re very thankful that Jonathan’s sister, Christine, lives right across the street and can be there for mom!
  • Like any church in the world, we have several members currently struggling with financial difficulties and significant hardships. Pray for us as we try to provide solid care and comfort that is grounded in the very character of God himself. We so want to build a culture of suffering well, while at the same time excelling in genuinely caring for one another.
  • Since the beginning of our church we have met on Wednesday evenings to discuss the Bible, sing, pray, and to grow in relationship as we eat together. Beginning in May, that one group will become two official SGCN Care Groups! That’s a praise and a prayer request.
  • Some areas we are seeking to grow in as a church: prayer, eagerly desiring spiritual gifts, evangelism, and hospitality.
